George R. Nemiroff – Attorney

Trained by luminaries in the Labor and Employment field, Mr. Nemiroff has dedicated his career to representing employees, with an emphasis on wage and hour compensation, individual discrimination, retaliation and harassment, and personal injury.

Mr. Nemiroff has represented employees in the banking, retail, food service, technology, health care, entertainment and construction industries. He has litigated numerous complex class actions and individual cases before federal, state and administrative courts on issues such as:

Mr. Nemiroff has extensive appellate experience having successfully argued before the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and California Court of Appeals.

Mr. Nemiroff is a member of the California Employment Lawyers Association, the San Francisco Trial Lawyers’ Association, and the Marin County Bar Association.

Mr. Nemiroff is licensed to practice in the State of California, the United States Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States District Courts of California for the Northern, Central, Eastern and Southern Districts.

Mr. Nemiroff graduated from the University of Michigan with Highest Honors and obtained his law degree from the University of San Francisco School of Law.

Mr. Nemiroff is active within his community providing pro bono legal advice through the Marin County Library’s Lawyers in the Library program; ensuring vulnerable women have professional business attire through Dress for Success; and, coaching youth sports.
